      Re: lloyds ccj help please?

You may find that Paul has not had a chance to see the PM yet, anyway I hope the letter you have sent sorts out the problem or at least buys a bit of time until you can get help.

        Hi Minnack,

I can sympathhise with your frustration re Paul. However, it's only 2 days since you contacted him and he is an exceedingly busy man. He may well not even have logged into this site in that time due to his own work commitments. He isn't, sadly, an employee of the site.

Best of luck with everything though!

          Re: lloyds ccj help please?

          Hi Minnack,
Bless you, you're not being ignored! As BBoo says, Paul is extremely busy, and as your situation is very specialised we would rather see what Paul says first.

Additionally Niddy the site owner is away on holiday, so it's very quiet on here at the moment.

Might be an idea to click the red triangle and ask the site team for suggestions, as time is ticking away.

          take care,

          Shepherdess x

            Re: lloyds ccj help please?

            Hi Minnack,

No one is ignoring you and it really is not a case of not wanting to talk. Paul really is an extremely busy professional whose firm is one of about 4 in the country who are genuinely prepared to help as specialists the consumers' cause. He gives freely of his time here and is away an awful lot of time attending trials on consumers' behalf and briefing counsel and the like.

However if you want it straight and how we deal and have dealt with ours then. We battled for two years alone without help unti,. stalemate was reached. I am not a lawyer but it became almost a full time doing the study to carry on which in turn starts the path of ever diminishing return, things got really nasty and my health failed. AT THAT POINT WE IMMEDIATELY SOUGHT PROFESSIONAL HELP. I did not know where to start and searched and searched until we found someone to help. Sadly Paul's firm did not show in our searches as they are more local to us as well. That move was one of the best we made as we were able to fence most of the trouble except the phone calls and letters but it makes all of the creditors and their agents reluctant to move forward once you have this in place. Hence my advice to everyone on these sort of matters get help early. When it is as late in the day as yours then we have to try to find the best way forward in a real hurry and Paul's advice will be the best that we can do in the short term.

From what I see of your case you will have to have legal representation anyway to sort it or capitulate yourself. It may just be that you will have to take it on the nose for now and then as the CCJ is by default and has not been defended you would apply for a set aside on whatever grounds can be mustered. If it is defended and the case goes against you then I believe that would entail a costly appeal from what has been said in the past.

I will ask the site manager via PM if I can pass on Paul's works number to you by PM as there is some urgency to this.

I have asked Paul to have a look and get in touch as soon as he can.
I am sure he will be after some more information so just have as much as you can have to hand.

What is the update then? Did you go to John Pugh or has Paul been back in touch...?

** For reference, if I am away and someone panics like this we have a trail of command - start with local mods (brown) then site mods (green), then blue super mods then red site team and after all that if you still get no joy, then you contact Steve who is the forum manager!

Thanks guys, just thought i'd clear this up as any of the normal mods would have known what to do in my absence.....
