Ok time to cancel dmp and have a chilled time for 3 months. Update here when you get any letters but don't speak to them on phone. If they get thru just hang up. We need them to sell the debts to a dca - so you need to totally ignore them now until this occurs.

Make sure you have no live accounts at HBOS as they may try and offset.

Okay let me tell you about the accounts

1.Loan- They defaulting me 26th July this year

    2. Overdraft is with there in house debt collectors

3 Credit Card on a payment plan @ 1% - Pay them £29.88 per month half of that is still interest

    4. Credit card on a payment plan @ 1% Pay them £10.88 per month half of that is still interest

Parents have already said about making that money avaliable if i was to go down the full and final route with HBOS, i must say i have tried with a full and final 3 months ago but not sure i had the best letter...

So if you dont mind helping that would be great Niddy!!

Ok give me the go ahead (ie talk to parents first) and I'll do you a good template to send off.

Can you clarify, are the accounts still with HBOS or with a dca? Are you defaulted/does it matter if you get a default?

Point is to work this to your vantage point you need to be in arrears with a dca then we go for the offer based on a £0 probability affordability offer. Basically you'll be asking for a reclaim of charges and ready to pay £1 per month - however you can get £500 if they'll accept it as f&f. They'll say no so we go back with better offer etc etc

Alland just had a £10k settled for £2k.....

I didn't realise the amounts mate and for the small sum involved the charges are silly if you stop paying so I'd suggest you continue with dmp. If however you can get £1500 then let me know and we'll get em to accept LESS than that as full & final for you.

That's what I'd suggest to be fair. Sorry mate.

    Hiya

all the accounts are too new to consider fighting UE with so really a dmp is your best port of call to be frank.....

Sorreeee - just the way it is i'm afraid. Obviously consider reclaiming any missold insurance/unlawful charges but otherwise a dmp may be best for you as a long term solution.....

Its only £3k and to easy to remedy so try using the offer templates to cease interest etc (see website)...

Thats my opinion i'm afraid - see what others think though, no harm....

A good dca that's desperate to get paid won't charge anything

What's the account type and the balance and when did you take it out?

    Don't do anything yet obviously

HBOS - to beat them, stop paying.

Wait 91 days and it then goes external - you'll then be able to sort a good agreement
