Thanks to everyone, I'm sure you are all correct. Will keep everything safely stored!

Great to see all the usual suspects on here in full flow!

I also worry about this. Had written confirmation that my Crap one is finished with. But! Will hold onto info for another year or so.

I agree with Spud too, I'm well into statute barred with mine but won't get rid of anything 'just in case'!

Even Lowells can't be a***d to write now but they do still call my mobile quite regularly!

All my paperwork is in lever arch files so I'll just shove them in a box and put them in the attic.

Technically you could get rid of them...BUT....If it were me, I would take a photocopy of the Lowell letter and file it away safely ( in case the original got destroyed) and then wrap your files up carefully and store them away.

You never know what could come around the corner and I for one certainly would not be trusting them to keep their word

However, they have not said they won't package it up and sell it on to another gullible outfit. Many thanks to Niddy and the team along with everyone else on here who helped me with this.

I have a Barclaycard a/c also with Lowell, this became SB'd in October 2015 but heard nothing in ages on this.

    Best wishes to all, R
In view of the above, could I shred my bulging file of paperwork on this except for the Lowell letter and a few other relevant letters? or would it be sensible to hold off for another six months or so.
Just wondering how long people keep these files! I'm aware they are likely to package it up with others and sell on to another bunch of chancers!

Yes I would get the cca sent off asap. If they were to try it on and play silly buggers by claiming the CoA starts from termination date, you're less than a week away and they will have to deal with your cca before issuing a claim. Plus if they haven't already issued a letter before claim they would have to fall foul of PD pre-action protocol if they were to now issue a claim before termination date.

Thanks Niddy, CCA request on its way tomorrow. Lowell appeared to have buggered this up as they started treating me as a new and valued "customer" a few months ago!
