    Re: Solictors Letters

I can't seem to access the new templates, even through the new link. I have tried to register again, but no matter what I input it won't accept it (date of birth etc). Have old copies of CCA requests here, so just so I get something sent today, I am going to print off two of the CCA requests and send one to Cabot and one to law firm. I hope that is okay, but that is all I have saved on my computer, and at least using these I know I won't be saying anything that could reset the clock or anything.

I remember from my previous thread (where, with help from here, I received a letter from a company saying they wouldn't pursue) I was advised to send a CCA to the actual solicitor to stop action, so I think worst case this will just cost me a little extra post money, sending to both.

    Thank you.

      Re: Solictors Letters

      Hi,

Thank you PlanB. I'm not familiar with an LBA. I have sent a CCA to both companies today. If you think I should still send an LBA, could someone possibly give me a link/enable access to the links, as it won't work for me, and when I try to register it won't accept my info. Thanks.

If they do try and take court action, the CCA, based on what they have sent previously, is unenforceable. I have no property or earnings, which you would imagine they would know. But I guess given they also know the account is in dispute, and they haven't ever sent a proper CCA, then you never know what they will do.

      Thank you.

I'm an idiot, sorry. Just spotted the LBA, and you don't need access to templates. If I should still send, I can send next week. Thanks.

Can you update us on this one - was there any reply to LBA you originally sent?
