      Re: Transformer999-V-Vanquis

That's great I have been getting so many phone calls from BCW about my Vanquis debt..........I don't give them my details and tell them to write to me. They say they have been sending letters and have sent 3 but I have not received a single one.

Should I ignore them? or let them continue to phone? I just say you must write to me and they say they did.........nothing more I can say them after that is there really.

      Just what I need....

Depends, as in a faulty DN can be remedied, unless they terminated on the back of a faulty DN? Paul is the best to speak to regards this.....

If a creditor terminates an account on the back of a faulty DN (or even no DN) have they shot themselves in the foot in court or can they rectify this in hindsight with a corrected/backdated DN? And another naive question: how do I know if I've been terminated? Is there an obligatiion to send me a TN? I've got 17 "Defaulted" markers on my CRA files with exact dates so I presume that means those accounts have been terminated even though 15 of them didn't send me any notice of termination.

Way too many questions on varying threads, you need to start one thread with one line of questions as this is not helping anyone with these random questions all over the place!

Sorry Niddy. So much to learn. So little time.

So I'l start my own threads then (what the hell are they?). Only joking. I can do that.

I mean it's easier for you and us to help, if everything is in one place then we can offer tailored help as oppose to random stuff. It does make sense - I think

I have received a letter from BCW who have been ringing me for the past month but I always say that the person they want to speak to is out and take a message. This account is being passed from one DCA to another that I am finding it hard to know who it with............not that I care at the moment either.

Looks like BCW are bringing xmas early for me and want to give me a discount and I know what I want to give them but know it would not be legal.

Same shit all the time...........I got in to a mess and asked Vanquis if they would accept lower payments for a while...........they refused...again and again...........and then they sent me a faulty DN.........passed my account to as many different DCA's as they could and still not stopping. They can really kiss my xxxx now as I am not even going to bother with a reply..............or maybe I should?

Here is the letter I received:

                        http://i450.photobucket.com/albums/q...ntOffer001.jpg

Debt is £690 and the amount they are willing to accept is roughly the correct amount that was originally owed. Credit limit was £500 and I stopped using it when it got to apprx £400 and everything on top is charges & interest and all the other crap they have piled on. If they had accepted my original offer from the beginning this would have been almost paid off by now. After all that they are now willing to accept almost half so now they can go and eff themselves as I have bigger fish to fry and more important things to worry about at present.

The charges and interest will almost certainly be unlawful. Might be worth a SAR...

I bloody keep getting calls from BCW and I have to answer the phone as I get important calls. They always ask for my name and I used to tell them yes it was me speaking.........then they would tell be they were BCW and needed me to make arrangements to pay. I used to tell them to put everything in writing and not call.............they wrote one letter and continue to call every other day.

Now when they call I just say that the person they want to speak to is out and that is that. I should fail their security checks as I have not tried that one yet........or answer their questions half in english and half in punjabi...........do a phonejacker on them lol.
