Chill. Cabot have never "taken" anyone's house from here. In fact I think you'll find our preferred solicitor quite likes spanking Cabot.

No two cases are the same. Don't worry about what you may have read elsewhere. We have many users here that have dealings with Cabot.

Hiya all in a bit of a distressed state I'm terrified in case CABOT comes after my house for this debt don't know if what I have being reading. (Else where ) stupid in know is correct but I now fear I could loose my house to these git's I think that if I transferred the mortgage to my son it will be deprivation of capital cos it will.be class as a sale not sure if I added to the deeds will he be classed as joint owner? Can somebody tell me what's what please or how to get out of this situation please

Hiya all. Just a quick update on Cabot sent letters on the 18th July 13 #31 from niddy got reply today 20th July I don't believe it. they say Co op advised there's no dispute. Contact us within 21days to discuss repayment or kindly forward us copies of your evidence to aid our investigations lol no chance if we don't here from you in the time scale account will return to collections dept. looks to me that yet again they are failing to comply with my requests Anyway who kidding who letter sent 18th reply received today 20th. Impossible
Co op do know about the dispute and confirmed it to me In previous phone calls said they had lost my original letters but they were logged on their systems and to resend the SAR. ASAP outlining what parts I wanted. Sent it off again last week asking for everything about all my accounts also sent letter #31 considering nobody is supposed to know anything about this. I just happened to check my CRA file and guess what The default has been removed That's a really good piece of news. Thank you

Just a couple of little tips for you to remember from now on Old and Blue, don't talk to any of them on the telephone, always in writing only, and when receiving correspondence form any of these toe rags always keep it safe with the envelope that it came in marked up with the date it actually fell through your letterbox. Be assured these apparently trivial things and details you are asked to do here really DO work and pay dividends in the long run.

You don't need to write them. Just copy/paste into a word document.

If you're stuck let me know and I'll do it for you and email them to you. But you don't need to type anything up.

The main one to the bank speaks for itself, Cabot just have to sit tight whilst you kick the co-op arse

You'll be fine. As I say just follow our lead. Don't go off on one as they play games and we're used to them now so best placed to assist.

Hopefully we'll get this debt written off/retrospectively backdated with correct charges etc. lets see
