    I have today had a letter from Moorcroft 2 pages long stating that they have not been assigned the account but are putting the account on hold while they get back to the BH about my SAR queries. They say they are just acting on behalf of their client ?? This is like years ago when Nationwide came onto me ( they were vile ) and , when I was paying £50 on a regular basis, suddenly Black Horse came back on the scene ( thats when I stopped payments )..

    So do these companies chuck their problems to these outside companies like ..... bully boys ? I don t get it, What a way to do business.. I reckon I have been very naive most of my life.

    They couldn t be ***** to look into my complaint so they chuck it to someone else.

    I have also had a reply from FLA because in a Michael I wrote to them outlining my complaint and accused them of just being in a job for the boys, and just accepting BH reply and not mediating as they alledge to do.... They replied saying they have taken on board my " further points " ( which if they had looked at it , it was pointed out in the first place ) and gone back to the BH.

    So looking hopeful me thinks, what with Moorcrap backing off, FLA questioning them further and P 1 s brilliant letter...

      The OC's dont want to be seen to be grubbing around in the gutter so get some bunch of threat monkeys to do the dirty work for them.

      Not naive at all. Think we all been where you have in one way or another.

      Only knowledge lets you reason that something isnt right. And that is what scares the establishment about the internet.

          Typical Moroncrap and utterly unintelligible. If they hadn't been assigned the alleged account what the hell were they writing to you about? It was an equitable assignment, involving no change of ownership, but an assignment nonetheless.

          How can they put it on hold if they claim they haven't been assigned it? Your brain cells can rot and die while you are trying to make sense of anything Moroncrap write.

          Translated into English, what it means is - "We are scared that we are getting involved in something we won't be able to make a grubby little profit from, so we'll distance ourselves from it. If, however, the original creditor wants to carry on being a big bully, we'll hang around just long enough to see if we can get some juicy leftovers."

          Yes, that is exactly what they do, as a routine. An utterly grubby and disreputable way to do "business", condoned by a legal system created by politicians who were taking backhanders from the very villains they needed to legislate against.

              Yes it is !! I m a retired schoolteacher and it s fabulous, my partner gob was smacked... I v suffered ten years of crap, no fault of mine apart from being stressed and naive... I m hopeful now

                    Ok had a response if you can call it that and I am at a bit of a loss, so would appreciate advice from Priority and anyone else for that matter.

                    We have received a pile of print outs and copies ( in a damaged envelope) all of which we have had before and so tells us nothing new, nor answers the complaint questions that we sent,There is no accompanying letter either.

                    What do I do now? Im at a loss as I presume they will commence requests for money again, they have sent me nothing new or any answers

                    Weird ??

                      Not really. The one problem with CPUTR is that the recipient of the letter is not obliged to answer it. In this case, they obviously have no answer, so they are just going to ignore it.

                      You can just keep referring them back to that letter every time they send another demand for money. In the end, they either take it to court or six years elapses. End of story.

                        Thanks ... going to court gets less daunting as time goes on now.... I feel sure fraud happened here but I will settle for them leaving me to get on with my life....

                          That sounds like more info. in relation to your SAR.... and no more. It's certainly not an answer to your complaint so there's no need for you to respond.

                          They are obliged to answer if it's used as part of a formal complaint, which it is.

                            Thanks P1 The information is just a replica to what they have sent before, nothing new. So I shall wait a bit longer ? They have not sent a covering letter of any sort or answered anything.. I m not sure what to do now lol.... ah well

                              They haven't responded so leave the ball in their court for now. They'll either answer your complaint with a cogent reply eventually or, they'll hound you for money again in which case, we'll refer them back to your complaint... and possibly issue a fresh one on top....
