The reason I ask is for my other Barclaycard CCA requests they sent 2 sets of terms and conditions which were from when I opened the account and what the account has now, yet for the Goldfish account they only sent me the present day terms and conditions and later admitted they didn't have them from when I opened the account as they didn't own the account when it was opened.
The red quote above is why this account would be totally unenforceable as they should send terms as at account inception AND the current terms....

      Re: Barclaycard Goldfish

      Hi all

Thanks for your replies. I will send Harrassment and Threat of Door-Step Visit letter to them today - by recorded delivery for good measure!

Locke - I have not received anything from Barclaycard Goldfish, not even an acknowledgement of my CCA request. All they have done is pass it to various DCAs so they can harrass me - so kind of BG!

Just out of interest, has anyone ever had a home visit from a debt collector? I am hoping that this is another threat rather than a promise and they won't actually turn up - especially when they receive the letter!

It happens a lot, read through the diaries - Mrs Dopey and Phoenix both had a visit, as have others (as far as I can recall)....

You don't need to worry, if anyone calls just close the door in their face - you do not have to speak to them, and most definitely do not have to let them in your home.

I've had them visit twice and after the first time it made me wonder what I was worried about in the first place.

There really is nothing to worry about.

            Hi
I had one call I just told him that the dispute was between me and Barclaycard and it had nothing to do with them
He said sorry Sir I'll go back and tell them that

                Re: Barclaycard Goldfish

I tried to get a CCA from Barclays for a Morgan Stanley which was so I'm told taken over when Goldfish was.
It took a while for my SAR to be processed but they never had the CCA just some dumb statements.
I phoned and hounded them until I got it in writting that they held no other corresponence for the account, which I got.
The lady I spoke to was pretty nice too and told me they got very little when the MS/Goldfish accounts were taken in by them.
However the DCA is trying everything including a split claim which I defended but they never responded so the case was stayed but now even though the case is stayed they are trying to take me to court again lol.
I have reported them to the court manager and OFT for trying to start legal procedings when there is already an open case.
The OFT told me that they have not had their licence renewed too :-)

I agree with a lot of the comments and also check court papers for the claimant details as a lot of dca's are based oversea's to alleviate our laws....

                          However, interesting reading lol

The chap at the OFT said they will not be having their licence renewed in Septemeber at the moment...

HFO services is Ireland based (I think, would have to look back in my notes) while HFO Capital are in the far east.
Now Capital own the alleged debt they are trying to claim whilst it is Services that put the claim in lol
I have more against them too but as it's in my defence I can't post here.

Best of luck, when you win you can post here though yea?

Or I can move this to the protected section for you, then you can post whatever you like as only other people being taken to court (and the site admin team) have access to that section....
