          Morning all.

Been looking at my credit file again.

I have an AP listed next to Barclaycard, from what I have read this is bad. Am I right in thinking that even if I continued to pay them it would still show on my credit file for 6 years after the final payment?

I'm concerned about the mortgage, I am not on a fixed rate which is ok right now but if interest rates go up I'm screwed. Does anyone know how my current mortgage provider would look upon this? Bad I guess?

          I HATE BARCLAYCARD.

Depends if/when you've been defaulted. It'll drop off your credit file 6 years after a default regardless of whether you pay or not.

                Morning All,

Today is the big day, I'm going to be sending out my CCA requests. (I will also start my diary today). --->Snudgerchops UE Diary. - allaboutFORUMS

Hoping someone can help with a little info before I post:

Arrow Global - They have asked for all info to be sent to a PO BOX in Manchester (I know this from previous letters they have sent), should I send it there or should I send it to their registered office in London?

Last question: None of the letters have a contact name on them? Is it correct that I send it for the attention of the "Data Controller"?

                Thanks in advance to all.

                Snudgerchops.

                  Morning Snudgerchops,
Well done on getting yourself organised.

No, don't send CCA requests to the Data Controller (that's just for Subject Access Requests).
No need for a name, just send it to the address you're directed to use on the most recent letter from them, be it from a DCA or original company.

                  Shep x

Just as a note for reference, with Arrow Global, even if a DCA is dealing with it, they ask for the PO to be made payable to Arrow Global not the DCA.

                    How curious.

That seems to suggest their Debt Collecting Empire is run from a grotty council house in Fallowfield and that their "global" presence is, well, a lot of globes.

Their registered office may just be the address of their accountant or lawyer - someone who can accept service of legal documents or claims on behalf of the company.

Can you not ask the Post Office for the actual address behind the PO Box?

Or use the 12 Booth Street, Manchester address given here ---> link.

It's certainly better than "Assistant Chief Muppet".

                      Thank's Sheperdess,

I will obviously have to do some more reading, I was under the impression that Arrow Global was a DCA?

                        Thank's Cleverclogs,

                        I'll use that address.

So just before I hit the print button, to confirm: I'm going to send them to the address I have only, not for anyones attention. (I have no names anyway).

                        Thanks Again.

Arrow Global are a DCA but they are also the debt owners.
Often they use other DCA's such as Moorcroft to do their dirty work for them..

                            Hi All,

I know I'm a pest - hopefully this is the last question for a while.

I'm on my last letter to Barclaycard, but again it's a PO BOX, my concern is that if it's a PO BOX it will not be signed for.

                            Any ideas?

                            Thanks

sent mine to a PO box two years ago and have had replies to all of them, quite a lot of replies to be honest in some cases, so don't stress, just get them off and you'll feel a lot better.
