AS an ex-employee, I would be happy to see them royally shafted from behind

Niddy has tolerated my presence here since last year - but I haven't really been very active - so "Notta lotta people" will know me. I mainly try and stick to maths & spreadsheets etc., and I recently worked with Ken, AC and others off-site to try and get a method together to at least get the FCA to look into this apparent anomaly with the MBNA PPI calculations and the FCA method.

It's good to see the interest and positive responses from you guys here - and Niddy has kindly set such a fine example by 'plugging' this little campaign on the alternative media. We're all doing it because some of us have claims - and some of us just enjoy the buzz of letting the banks know that we are watching them. Thank you to all of you - let the Karma continue.

You can just imagine what all those bad boys/Cowboys in the city would be doing if, the FCA is not currently in force...! Just picture it Red Braces galore and all swigging lovely Bolli; we can run rings around the FCA until April gov., 'cos they're not in force, yeah, blimey.
The very thought of that scenario makes one shudder
Haha - that's a funny scenario and one suitable for the backstreets of Iran....

thanks for clarifying, obviously as a consumer we don't necessarily see much change just yet but it's good to know these powers with teeth are there, unlike it's predecessors!!

So think technically it is April this year?? that the change happens but in real life the FCA is in place and is operating.

Even if it isnt fully operational I doubt our complaint is going to be dealt with within 2 months, so it will be the FCA who will be doing any talking to the bank, if they decide it has merit

No Ken, the FCA is fully operational, right now!

Ken, as you know GT and I have sent our letters!

Hopefully, many others who have been affected will do so too.

Come on Guys, get those letters to the FCA and FOS in the mail; post them off today.
