Right ok, its time for the FOS then if your not happy with the decision.
So you already made them aware of the FOS as well then?

You could do, sometimes it helps, although not guaranteed.

hope your good
just to give you an update

Halifax wont budge and insist they wont refund the whole amount my husband was claiming. So he decided to go down the financial Ombudsman route. Sent off all the paperwork Saturday but it seems that they may have refunded the £300 odd pound.
So just awaiting to hear FOS

If in hardship, it may also help if you let the FOS know, and request for fast tracking.
