      Yea it widespread mate, however the bank may well utilise their right of set-off so its kinda bonkers in essence.....

      I had the same, I had 2 HSBC accounts Plus credit card, yet a link to me also had 3 banks and a credit card - although not my debt, HSBC don't think this - see my complaint, Niddy v HSBC for details - but suffice to say they never RoSo with me - they just closed my current banking facilities down thus rendering me bank-less.
