Re: Lloyds 1978 cc
niddy
we owe about 5000 to lloyds
yes it was that well known site that told me to pay. all they kept pushing for was ppi, but we didn't take any on our cards so they lost intrest in my postings for advice and i gave up till i found this site
we owe around 95k+in total, it started at 100k+ in 2002
so it will be 3001 when its all paid off
we have 20 cc and store cards between us
all accounts are still having some payment made to them and all have been defaulted so mayas well start on all of them
will start a diary tomorrow but will need lots of help
as i start off confident and then start to doubt if im doing right thanks
would welcome any template that would get them to clear the file and bugger off

WHAT????? Was this other site CAG?Originally posted by nightwatch View Postwe are still paying a small payment as was told on another site i should and hubby was worried about going to court

where do you thimk it could go from here

Stop all payments, seriously - quit paying this debt - christ! I presumed you stopped paying in 2008
It'll go nowhere as they cannot satisfy s.78, they cannot satisfy s.87 or s.88 - in fact they cannot satisfy anything as the whole thing is unenforceable......

You really gotta start playing the game now......
what is the actual balance of the debt? Do you have other bad debts?

sent CPUTR 2008 received letter saying they can't add anything further to my complaint
sent sar
thats where i found the internal email saying the cannot find it.
Ok, well weird as it is - I just (yesterday) did two letters for another user here that has the EXACT same problem so all you need to do is follow the support I have sent his way - see this thread and you'll see my two templates on page 2 - I will need to edit them slightly as this debt was SB'd - but the basic principle is the same, if you're interetsed in using them? Just give me a shout and I'll amend to suit for you......
After those, we can then threaten legal action and get heavy but to start you need to give them the chance to sort things.....

Re: Lloyds 1978 cc
Oooh yes please.... have you actually sorted this or what? I have not been following things but seriously, if you can get time to explain things then I'm sure we can kick some arse etc....Originally posted by nightwatch View PostI have the print out in front of me as i type
would you like to see it ??
Basically what is happening and whats the status of the account? Are you chasing UE, are you paying, is there a live complaint, did you miss the complaint, what?
try and explain things to us as though we'd never spoke about it before - then i'll come back to you with anything you could do to sort things once and for all....

Re: Lloyds 1978 cc
Sorry, can you elaborate? Please tell me you have this in writing?Originally posted by nightwatch View Postjust found something else
I wrote to them2010 asking for them to remove markers from CRA file as payments had been sent and they had ignored previous letters, also pointing out that they had sent a Default and had said they were going to apply it to the cedit file, but as they had regestered a default in 2002 they could not enter another one
the reply was , more or less 'yes we can'
but have found this 26/04 ; email; cr manager to check how many defaults on file as customer querying default being applied-advice given await response
28/04, email; to adv on points given in ds letter-advised that we can remove default and adverse however payments must remain incoming as default can not be re-applied await outcome
they never sent me that one!!

Re: Lloyds 1978 cc
No, what they're saying is kinda true but I am saying that you can get round this by creating a new complaint incorporating the previous one.Originally posted by pompeyfaith View PostAs I thought so what they are saying in the letter above is bullshite and that in it's self tells me that they are holding back and not truthful.
Clearly trying to stop a complaint to the FOS me thinks so what are they hiding.
Last paragraph hmmmmm
A lender may well give 6 months to go to the FOS but you may be awaiting other info or anything so to alleviate their unfair processes (the FOS rarely allow extensions) we just start a new complaint, easiest way is to send a SAR and fish for anything else that you feel is pertinent.
