POSSIBLE SCAM TELEPHONE MESSAGES?

  • POSSIBLE SCAM TELEPHONE MESSAGES?

    Had a recorded message from 01159338000 to-day @ 18.01p.m.

    starts something like:- 85.46 on line to get better deal call reference:- 21 million,90500047, if you heard message press 1 to hear again press 2.

    Who calls report a SMS message service from Esendex and can be anything from delivery etc etc etc. even mentioned ASDA delivery in one post on who calls me (they do not shop there). ?????????//////

    Been suggested United Utilities use this method, certainly does not even tell you what the subject matter is just as quoted above, by seems SMS services used by many companies, reported to TPS.

      From what I can gather, a variety of companies use this messaging service regarding deliveries/installations/appointments. Most find it confusing!

      TC, are you expecting a delivery (home shopping?) or another appointment of some sort? Certainly the message you have reported above makes no sense at all...
