Payplan really stitched you up didn't they Still Waving? A reminder NOT to allow them to handle claims, and of who, at the end of the day, supplies their funding
Don't think even a court can vary a tomlin order:

Yes they did. They said "if you want to contest the application we can't help you" (but we can draft a suitably watertight admission of the full debt).

There's always something which can be done As Elsa says wait until ATW takes a peek at your situation.

That makes sense. Keep 'em talking to keep it out of court

Hope everyone is keeping well. Unfortunately there has been further developments with regards to the above. I have received a letter today from Ascent Legal with regards to the business overdraft. The letter is headed with bold " Letter before Court Proceedings" basically saying I have 14 days to pay up or they will take me to court to get a charging order.

So what do I do now?

                Brief summary of events,

I have maintained payments to service this debt for the last 6 months, which Natwest will no longer accept
I am on a self managed DMP

Any advice on how to respond greatly appreciated
Formally referred to Andrew - he will be in touch asap

Try and not worry too much about this, just see what Andrew says

It seems a tad heavy handed by them if you are already paying!! Why "no longer" accept. Whats made them change their mind?

Forwarded on relevant documents, They ( natwest ) just said that the offer was unacceptable for the amount outstanding and as such would seek to get a CO!

                            Hi Guys,

The time has come for me to respond to Ascent Legal. I haven't managed to get an action plan sorted with Andrew yet, so here is what I'm thinking of sending, bear in mind the amount stated that I owe is roughly 10x what I think it is!

Thank you for your letter dated 25th October. Firstly I would like toquestion this debt of £xxxxx.xx. I have no knowledge of owing a debt of thisamount. I would also like to point out that to date I have been paying towardsan overdraft facility from a failed business, which had left me with seriousfinancial problems. I have been on a Debt Management Plan with all my creditorsfor the last year and I have offered payments in line with money that isavailable. I have maintained payments to service this debt with NatWest and myoffer still stands and payments will be made.
I would like you to send me details of the account that you think I am indebtedtoo as this amount shown does not correspond with my paperwork.

                            What do you think?

I've asked him to come in and contact you.
