Hmmm, he'll pop in soon and then clarify. I've just let him know you've replied.... sit tight for an hour

      Re: charging order

I had to pop out earlier, but Andrew did contact me, hopefully I can get this sorted out tomorrow, think I need to just establish what the correct amount owed is first then get Andrew to speak with bank on my behalf. Hoping to get an idea of what to write in letter back to Ascent Legal so I can fire that off tomorrow. Thanks all for your advice

Ask Andrew to deal so you don't have to write anything tmw! Why are you so insistent on responding?

          Re: charging order

simply because I had 14 days to respond before they issue court proceedings, I realise this is most likely threats but wanted to establish a line of communication before the situation got worse. Having said that if I can get Andrew to do this on my behalf then all the better

^^^^ You posted this on 26th October so assuming it is a LBA and assuming it's dated 25th October (is it?) then you have until Friday 8th November to respond. I think you should reply even if it's with only a holding letter which Andrew may help you to write. Have you emailed him a copy of that letter from Ascent Legal?

              Re: charging order

I'd wait till Andrew gets back to you, regardless. Prior to sending ANYTHING.

If he can help, he will. No harm sitting tight until tmw to see what he suggests

Yes that's right Plan B hence my urgency to do something! However as Niddy has said I will liaise with Andrew tomorrow via phone and either get a letter sorted or get him to deal with Ascent on my behalf. Thanks for your posts I will let you all know what happens

                          Re: charging order

                          Afternoon all,

This matter has finally reared its ugly head again! I need to get in contact with Paul as he was dealing with this for me but as i understand he has left the company he was working for. We made an offer to settle the debt back in January and after not hearing anything despite corresponding with the debt collectors, Natwest failed to respond. I've just been told that I have court papers arrived at my mailing address regarding this so will pick them up on Saturday gonna need to get this sorted asap

Send an email to Andrew using atw@all-about-debt.co.uk and include a link to this thread. Put both your real life name and your AAD username in the subject bar so he'll realize who you are if he has already been working on this for you.

Do you know what the court papers are for? Is it a new county court claim for your business overdraft or a charging order application as per the title of this thread?

Here's your other thread from 2012 which may relate to this claim http://forums.all-about-debt.co.uk/s...l=1#post234050
