Re: Advice needed re a Trustcard Account, DCA, Default Notices and Other Matters
they registered a default in 2002 (Feb) when they closed the account but don't have it, and did not keep a copy of hubbys CRA file that showed it on there .well we did but the computer it was on blew up! then from 2008-2010 they were reporting it as AP

Re: Advice needed re a Trustcard Account, DCA, Default Notices and Other Matters
Hi
If I am correct the first two defaults were bad in that they only allowed 14 days and not 14 days from service although I am not sure when the time scale changed from 7 to 14 days

When did Lloyds register the default on your husbands credit file?
If you would like me to take a look please scan and email the paperwork to Niddy for me to see.

Re: Advice needed re a Trustcard Account, DCA, Default Notices and Other Matters
Well what can I say!! Have just been into the shed to look for something( this is dangerous as last time I did this i was missing for a week) came across a box with some random papers in, so random that I have found:
letter from LLoyds Feb 2002 saying they have closed the account because of the amount we owe
Default 27th Aug 2003 giving us till 10th Sep to rectify
Default 14th Jan 2004 giving till 28th Jan to rectify
Default 17th Aug 2010 giving 6th sept as remedy date
letter may 2011 saying that the account was closed in 2002 when they froze the interest and cancelled the card, and that the account was charged off november 2010, when the account is charged off and goes to Consumer debt recovery, the original default notice was applied.
page of SAR that states, to advise on points given in ds letter- advise that we can remove default and adverse however payments must remain incoming as default can not be re-applied await outcome
so armed with all this can I get the default removed from hubbys CRA file?

Yes, I agree cymruambyth.
10 years ago would have been the right time to address my problems in this way as well.

I did tell you that 2010 was a bad year for LTSB and their DNs

This site is fantastic, I just wish it had been around 10 years ago as I think I made every error possible, which is why I'm still dealing with all this!

Nice one,
cannot find our DNs so hard to argue with Lloyds as they think they are in charge, even thou the sar I have has a sentence in that says "default can be removed but we need to keep the payments coming in" or words to that effect

Re: Advice needed re a Trustcard Account, DCA, Default Notices and Other Matters
Hi Niddy and Josie
Humble apologies. This is all new to me and I didn't think to check my emails. I just read what was on the thread. I'm feeling pressure like everybody else but at the moment I can't quite believe the speed of responses. Please believe me, I'm not trying to push things along any faster. I couldn't cope. I am genuinely overawed at how quickly I am hearing back even at this time of night.
All the best
Spector
