just had a letter out of the blue from Roythornes Solicitors regarding some old pet insurance policy with kwik fit, stating their client will have little option but to commence legal proceedings if sum owed not paid. They state any remittance to be paid directly to their client. They go on to mention their client will pursue full costs and 8% interest etc.is this just an idle threat at this stage or should it be taken seriously? Any advice asap would be appreciated to enable me to decide how to proceed. Surely kwik fit can't be desperate for £30?
