Re: help for hubby
It could be that he has put the number on something that has registered it somewhere, or they have just chanced their luck on a name with a number registered to it,
just note the number they called on and if possible block it, or try and ignore it, I tend to put a line at the bottom of any letters I send stating that all correspondence is to be in writing only,
if they continue to call send the Harassment by phone template ,http://www.all-about-debt.co.uk/inde...t-by-telephone

Re: help for hubby
I know it's frustrating but try to ignore calls you don't recognise / withheld numbers for a while till they stop calling.

Debt Mismanagers, you are "immediately."
I think you can safely ignore this pile of sanctimonious skunk dung. There are no threats involved, other than the bogus one about "dishonoured" payments. Just run some more time off and wait for the next one.

Re: help for hubby
a lot of the time the letter is worded to make you think that they are going to call at your property in person, but it sometimes means that they are going to contact you by phone.
I have had some in the past that are worded that way ie; An adviser will call on you between 9 & 5 on xx/xx/xxxx, they don't come to your house they try phoning you all day

Re: help for hubby
Help again
Just had a letter from Debt Managers (services) Ltd its says
We are collecting the above debt on behalf of Arrow Global. we will instruct our external agents Call Services t contact you at your address to discuss the arrangements for the payment of the full amount owing.
it goes onto say you have a final opportunity to prevent this happening by calling usto set up an affordable payment arrangement, and may even be entitled to a discount
then at the end it says
If you are unsure of how to settle this debt you must telephone one of our negotiators who will discuss the options available
I really dont want anyone coming to the house, what should he do?
Thanks in advance
