When you say another; i assume you mean another card in their range, or from another provider?

    Nuts!!
Wow, that's pretty good going in this day and age. It seems most credit card applications now are like, 1K or 2K.

Give it a few days or try again and get different agent
It was sods law that this time i spoke with someone who was willing although just as the call started, my boss started showing new clients around and was within ear-shot. Typical! He did ask me to set up a telephone PIN so i guess the account is there, just need to see how much of a limit they have given. Hopefully enough to pay off the card specified in the balance transfer, only at 0% - assuming they have given me the standard t&c's for the card that is!

Still nothing through the post, called them, gave the reference number to some dude who said the card was in the post!
    Happy days!

ah, that sounds more like it

Looks like a decline with this one mate. Just called them, placed on hold and then was told i will hear in writing within 10 working days. I asked if they can see the status of my application on their screen and apparently it just tells them its pending which i guess is cr@p. Wonder why they don't want to just say no on the phone?

Don't worry, just sit back until end of the year then go again. Lets see what the official line is, they may accept you - after all I got accepted from other lenders (mainstream) with some very strange credit entries (20+ defaults)

Thanks for words of encouragement mate. I guess its either a yes, or no - hopefully the former
