How long ago were all these PDLs paid off?

If they were never defaulted and were taken out/settled over three years ago it may not have a negative impact on your mortgage application especially if you can come up with a good reason for the temporary blip (historical job loss, divorce etc).

    How many are there?

    That is plausible
Or, "Those loans were obtained by a woman who claimed to be living at my address at the time. I can assure you that I have never knowingly been female." ?

You'd be best formally complaining to Equifax stating you want them to update the ER entry and attach evidence (Experian & CT records ECT).

Ref PDL there's no template. You email their complaints dept and say "the CRA entries show Ms yet I am Mr. Please amend the record on your next feed update or I'll be forced to complain to the ICO".

Well I have recently moved to rented accomodation with my partner ( nov 2013) and have confirmation in an email i was added to the electoral roll for this address in march could i send them a copy of my experian report to show it?

also with the the PDL mortgage scenario im guessing its 6 years from the loan before I can look at a mortgage

    - - - Updated - - -

also is there any template I can follow to send the PDL to ask them to change it?

Contact the PDL firms and demand they correct their records. Wait 14 days then raise a dispute with the CRA showing the incorrect entries and tell them it's an obvious error that needs resolving.

Regards mortgage. Yep. A PDL shows desperation (it does thus you're happy at a 2000+% APR) hence you will struggle to get a mortgage especially with the new mortgage approval tests (interview process).

    PDL's are horrible.

Yep a charge CAN be applied sadly (http://www.electoralcommission.org.u...t-i-get-credit).

How many years are missing? If it's more than one but you were on the ER then the CRA is obliged to update it IF you provide evidence. A council tax bill is best. One for each year you lived there.

i provided 3 to Experian with a copy of my Equifax report and they corrected it so it does work.

I think you'll have to decide if the £25 is worth it for equifax to add your electoral roll details. Who told you the cost?

I doubt you'd be able to get the payday loan defaults removed for them stating you're a Ms.
