          Re: Default Removal

Going back on parts of this, I got a reply today from equifax, as pastdue did not reply to my request to remove the info, Equifax removed it anyway! So now only two more to go, one from Anglian Water and one from grosevenor debt management and investigation!

Anyone reckon that I could get two settled accounts removed from credit file, both were closed down within 14 days cooling off period and I don't think they should have ever been recorded!

            Re: Default Removal

Settled accounts have little to no bearing. The length you had them only comes into play on live accounts so a current bank account with 6 months history is better than a closed one with 3 years history although the closed one would show the +36 payments on time within Delphi calculation.

The history used to be taken into account with settled accounts More; but now the Delphi system averages it with all payments made.

I'd not worry too much about settled entries.
