    I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

      Ah but says Yorkshire git of long ago, if you use the ablative and genitive of those words togther it means---------- something which if quoted will get me banned.


      Wake up at the back and write out the first forty pages of Caesar's Gallic Wars ( the eyeties giving the frogs a real bashing)

              We e e e ll,

              It stemmed from an exam paper from one wag in our form. He had mixed up the cases of some nouns in a Latin sentence from said tome, plus conjugated the verb incorrectly and instead of saying:-

              Caesars legions waged war across the whole of Gaul subjugating the disparate tribes.

              It now said:-

              Caesars men forced open the legs of every Gallic wench they found and f*****d them into submission.

              The unfortunate lad had strayed into Latin vernacular and from memory one noun was "experto". Bean bags around the left ear were the order of the day.
