  • KENSINGTON MORTGAGES sold to BARCLAYS 1st March 2023

    • Adding to this thread as it is more of the same problem, I do hope someone can advise me as getting our debt problems in hand now that I have been awarded PIP hubby waiting for carers ,and he's going to give up wtc and go onto UC where we can claim SMI .
So here are my questions if anyone can help please ?

Kensington sold our account to Mars Capital in Feb this year , so will be offering a repayment to them as fallen into arrears of over £5,000 due to me having cancer .
Anyway Kensington over the years added £595 in fees even when we had a repayment agreement in place for arrears .
Can we claim these fees back even though they have sold our account on to Mars who are also adding fees now which is adding to the arrears . ?
      Thanks if anyone knows .

Also if we apply for SMI can the arrears be included in the claim to help us at least pay back and get back on track ?

suggest you start a new thread as then refers to your case only and less confusion happening?
