If Tesco/RBS don't have the CCA , they won't have passed it to Intrum.

As I said in my post. Most debts are sold in a job lot, there is no paperwork passed over with them, there would be tons of it, even if sent by computer.
The buyers then hope that people, like yourself, will carry on paying, hopefully increasing payments, without any questions.
If one asked for a Copy of the Original account, the company then have to ask the Original owner of the debt for it, because they keep that information at point of sale.

As for not getting into your account, They prefer you to pay by DD, so the problem with your account could be. They want you to contact them.

Make sure you update your Diary with this information.

The AAD diaries are a wealth of knowledge - See RBS administration of Tesco Personal Finance!
See here " Tesco CC (under Tesco Personal Finance) was administered by Royal Bank of Scotland until May 2012 "
        https://all-about-debt.co.uk/forum/d...92#post1539892

The SAR needs to go to Tesco Bank
Your Diary entry has the Original 2004 and Default 2008 SO under RBS administration! (before May 2012)

Any CCA Request would go to Intrum.

I hope you can now begin understand there are already issues with your Case.

Record details in your Diary for you own benefit! Don't discuss or otherwise with Intrum! Good Diaries make for good decisions!
Silence and a watchful eye is the way forward.
        Thanks Roger.

I have taken a look at the threads you linked.

So with the fact that Tesco were administered by RBS until May 2012, does that mean it is less likely they would still be able to locate the paperwork if I ask for it? Sorry if I missed the point there

Thank you for explaining that, that makes sense

I did wonder if they’d somehow blocked me from logging into my account to prompt me to contact them!

So I’m thinking my next course of action on this, as per your previous reply, is to send an SAR to Tesco Personal Finance. Their address appears to have changed since the letter I received from them in 2019. I’m seeing two different ones come up online, one is the registered office address for Tesco Personal Finance (on Companies House) - 2 South Gyle Crescent, Edinburgh, EH12 9FQ and the other one according to their own website is Tesco Bank Loan Operations, PO Box 27014, Broadway One, Glasgow, G2 9FE. The letter I had from them in 2019 was an office in Glasgow, just a different address so I’m inclined to think the latter might be the better option?

          Thanks again for your help!

            Not to their registered address.

Data Protection Officer, Tesco Bank, Broadway One, 199 Renfield Street, Glasgow, G2 3AX

Well there has to be a reason why the Debt wasn't sold before and who was legally responsible for Statutary Notices and indeed selling the Debt. Was RBS only the administrator or owner? Was Tesco a branding but RBS the bankers? Who was responsible for the Data and Documents?
As an illustration M&S Bank is part of the HSBC Group!

There is also the Iron Mountain fire 2006. This may or may not be an issue here! I am aware of certain Banks where Iron Mountain appears in SAR!
The SAR will tell you what paperwork is available or not!
