  • Debt now CCJ mental illness

    HI everyone

can anyone please offer advice on this topic

i have over 10k debt and was working with step change they suggested a DRO as i am minus 200 a month on my budget.
as i have trained in law i wanted to avoid that and tried to make token payments while i could adjust my budget to have some left over as advised by step change
now my previous electric company from 2017 sent my file to uk search.
i emailed them in nov and told them my situation re the debts my budget and sent them my budget breakdown from the stepchange website and told them about my mental health.
i offered a token payment they accepted i wanted to pay by barcode i thought it was a qr code but it was one you need to scan at a shop
i asked them to make direct debit as i dont leave the house due to my illness. And phone call give me anxiety
they sent it to litigation and i have a CCJ now .
i know it was my lapse on payments but i have alot of creditors to deal with and trying to negotiate with them all i dont remember to check back on each one.

anyway i am trained as a lawyer but fell ill before fully qualifying so a ccj is not what i need

im feeling very down now and just like no point to life

please advise me the best course of action

my initial idea is to get some evidence from my gp regarding my mental health
its too late for a tomlin order
i did give them a call at uk search but they said if you dont want enforcement make a payment plan today,

    thank you in advance.
