Re: probable repossession
whatever you decide is best for you
this wasn't your fight so no point in losing sleep and tranquillity over it

Hi confused, and congratulations on your decision.
Anxiety is a terrible thing which can make you seriously ill. You have to put your health first.
I wish you happiness, whereever you may be

Re: probable repossession
Thank you to everyone who has responded to this thread with helpful information and kind words. I thought i should update with what has happened.....
As i mentioned earlier, we were thinking of moving in with family, we have decided to go ahead with this. We really want to save some money and be in a position one day where we can get enough of a deposit together to buy a house. While we're renting we can't add to our savings, so this is the plan!
We are absolutely sick to the back teeth of being at the mercy of terrible landlords, i don't think i could stomach another one!
With regard to the repossession, we decided that as we can move in with family pretty much straight away then we didn't want to get involved with the repossession hearing. I suffer with anxiety, and for those few days where i thought we'd have to speak to the mortgage company and go to court i felt incredibly unwell. We just didn't need the upset.
I think if we were having to find somewhere to live in the rental market, then going to court and getting extra time to move would have been beneficial. However, for us it would have caused unneccessary upset.
Anyway, we have been given 28 days to vacate...we're planning on moving well before then so it's no longer an issue.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to contribute to this thread, hopefully it will be of some use to someone in future if need be.
