I'll start with some questions to get the ball rolling

Who was the original creditor and what was the product such as a credit card, loan, overdraft, catalogue account etc.

It would be helpful to use this format to give as much information as possible so members can suggest your next step each time there's a new development >

• Type of account (credit card/loan/overdraft)
• Date commenced (ideally before April 2007)
• Approx balance
• Date last paid (approximate date you last made a FULL contractual payment)
• Are you on arrangement or not paying
• Status (default/in arrears/up-to-date)
• Account owner (who is writing to you, the original lender or a DCA or a debt purchaser)

If you haven't already sent a s 77-79 CCA Request then do that next (there's a template letter on the forum if you need it).
