Ok.. yes that makes sense. I phoned ICO on weds about this before taking this up with equifax and they explained it in the way i understood it.

So I dont really have a leg to stand on in my complaint.. Id better just leave it be then.

Well more to the point - it's causing absolutely no damage or good to your overall report as its too old hence ignored
