hi a huge thank you i was meant to be at court today but got a letter yesterday saying the claim has been discontinued by the claimant thanks for all your advise and help 1200 better off you guys are one in a million

I told you in my email of 17 August that the court has called the preliminary hearing to probably order the claimant to provide more documentation and then for you to file an amended defence.

You must attend the court hearing or the court could exercise its power to strike out the defence.

It will just be you, the Judge and the solicitor/barrister for the Claimant in court.

finaly got a letter from the court

That's interesting. It's been listed for a preliminary hearing not a final hearing. No Directions for Witness Statements and no mention of the Claimant having to pay the hearing fee.

It's not until September so there's time to figure out why that has happened.

Are you free on that date? You will need to attend.
