As you all know i am leaving Watsons solicitors on 12th August 2013.
I am taking up a position within Howlett Clarke Solicitors, who are part of the Quality Solicitors chain(for more info about QS see here http://www.qualitysolicitors.com/med...us/our-history)
I will be carrying out the same work that i did with Watsons, under the supervision of Jackie Gillespie who is one of the partners at the firm.
It was not an easy decision to make, to leave Watsons, i have given over 3 years of my life to building the firms name with Andrew and Gwyn, and i think everyone who knows the name Watsons, knows what we have achieved with very little resources and lets not forget the opponents were always very well resourced and had the best lawyers, the best barrister on speed dial etc.
Sadly Watsons will be closing shortly, i wish this werent the case, but it is, and it is not a decision that i can really influence.
However, i will have the chance to build on what has already been established through the hard work that has been put in.
I will not be able to take on any new cases until i start at Howletts.
To put any rumors to bed immediately, this decision to leave is one that i took with my family in mind, there is no other influences that have caused me to leave Watsons, the job was offered to me, the decision to accept was mine and mine alone. So if you hear stories that someone co erced me away, or needed me to leave to get the job etc, then you heard it from me, and it is clearly NOT True.
