A phone line selling tickets to the Rugby World Cup which starts in mid-September has been suspended by police over fears it is selling fake tickets. Fans hunting for sought-after tickets are being urged to be on their guard following a flurry being listed online, many of which are for key matches which have already sold out. After an investigation by consumer group Which?, website Getsporting has seen its phone line suspended by the police. It is not registered as an official Rugby World Cup 2015 re-selling site and is offering tickets for sold-out matches such as England v Australia at a cost of £500, as well as tickets for the final offered at almost £1,800, the Which? investigation found. In a statement, the National Fraud Investigation Bureau, part of the City of London Police, said: 'The NFIB has suspended the phone line on getsporting.com and is currently assessing the website.....Read more here
