The number of cases where landlords are using county court bailiffs to repossess property has jumped to a record high in the past year. A new report shows that the number of landlord repossessions by county court bailiffs reached 41,489 in the year to March 31 2015, an increase from 37,706 during the previous 12 months. Specialist information provider Thomson Reuters legal business, which compiled the research, said that despite recent rises in real wages, tenants are struggling to keep up with payments to landlords.
