Barclays tops FCA complaint league table
Barclays was hit by more complaints than any other bank in the second half of 2014, as total grievances topped 276,000. The figures were revealed in data from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which shows the total number of complaints against financial services firms in 2014, along with who they complained to and why. During the second half of last year the top five most complained-about lenders, in order, were Barclays Bank, Lloyds Bank (243,000 complaints), Bank of Scotland (232,000), HSBC (152,000) and Natwest Bank (126,500).
