Customers mis-sold card protection policies have just two weeks to claim compensation from their bank.

Seven million people targeted with these policies were sent compensation claims forms in February by their bank or credit card company. But many due money back have yet to respond. In November 2012, the City regulator fined Card Protection Plan Limited £10.5million for the widespread mis-selling of protection policies and ordered the firm to pay compensation to customers. Banks sold two types of CPP products to customers taking out credit, debit and store cards — card protection and identity protection.
