Tens of thousands of British expats have been told their Barclaycards will be cancelled. The firm has written to customers saying their cards will be withdrawn if they haven’t used them for six months and cannot provide a UK address. A spokesman said: ‘We periodically review accounts and if we become aware that a customer hasn’t used theirs for more than six months, we’ll close it, after giving them time to make alternative arrangements.’ But furious Money Mail readers fear the changes could leave them stranded.
