“Irresponsible” Wonga advert banned
The advertising watchdog has banned a radio ad by online lender Wonga after branding it “irresponsible”. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) investigated the radio ad, which featured the 1950s song ‘Mr Sandman’ with new lyrics. The lyrics stated: “Mr Wonga lend me some dough.
