Executives from the bailed-out Lloyds Banking Group were sent on a luxury spa break to teach them how to be more effective “hunter-gatherers in the corporate jungle".

A dozen bosses from the bank, which is 40 per cent owned by UK taxpayers, enjoyed a two-day trip to Champneys where they were given a bespoke therapy course to help them recuperate from work stress. The celebrity spa resort created a programme to teach them how to avoid "bail out, burn out or being booted out", reports claim. Tim Bean, the celebrity trainer who designed the bankers' tailored programme, said the two-day trip last November was designed to teach the bankers "how to manage their chaotic lives". The trainer, who promotes himself as The Merciless Mr Bean, said he created a personal workout programme for each of the 12 bankers and tutored them on "executive nutrition". One seminar, called Hunter-Gatherers in the Corporate Jungle, was designed to "re-equip them with the skills of alpha males and females", he told The Guardian. ....Read more here
