A debt collection agency which was nominated for a St Nick Award last year has been bought out of administration. Inksmoor Credit Management – which has offices in Leeds and Worcester – was acquired by Inks Realisations – a company controlled by the same directors. The business offers debt recovery, credit control and lender services.

Mark Bowen, of MB Insolvency, who was appointed administrator for the company, explained all jobs were secured as a result of the sale. He said: “This was not a pre-pack – the negotiations were all held following the appointment in an effort to preserve all the 26 jobs which were the main priority. “They (the directors) incorporated a new company to purchase it. “They (the reasons why the company entered administration) were circumstances out of their control. “It all happened very quickly. We were unsure what the bank’s position was going to be – we didn’t know whether it was going to consent (to the administration).

“If not it (the company) would’ve most likely ceased to trade.” The firm was formed in 2004 and went on to open its Leeds office in July 2011.
