I'm surprised you got more PDL's this year as the other defaulted ones would show on your credit file. Weird...

• Status (i.e. did you discuss a payment arrangement or just stop paying)? April 2014
• When applying for the loan did you have to fill out an application form and do you have a copy? I did fill out one, but do not have a copy.
• During the application for the loan were you given any pre-contact information or fact sheet so you could assess the affordability of the loan that was being offered to you and do you have a copy? I believe pre contract info was given but not a fact sheet. I also do not have a copy.
• Were you given a credit agreement and if so do you have a copy? I believe so, but do not have a copy.
• Did you ever roll over the loan and if so how many times? Never rolled over.
• If you rolled over the it would be helpful to understand the following - the amount of money you have repaid in total compared to the capital lent - I've not repaid anything.
• If you rolled over the loan were you provided new pre-contract information and new credit agreement each time and if so do you have copies? No
• Did you receive any arrears notice/letter also containing information on where you can go to get advice on your debts? Yes.
• Have you received any sort of default or termination notice to your POSTAL address? No
• When was the last time you sent any correspondence to them (either by email or post)? April 2014

Re: PayDay Debts - Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Do you mean the debts span over five months or five years? It may help to list the original amount borrowed and the amount being chased when you last heard from them. You say in your first post that the total is £8k so was that the total borrowed, or the 'new total' with interest and charges subsequently added? A separate post for each PDL would be good even if they all look the same because they may come after you at a later date and we need to be prepared in order to helpOriginally posted by TibetanMonk View Postall debts span over 5 Months . I do not have any original documentation from any of them

Re: PayDay Debts - Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Yes please - reason being because you're not going to shred any more correspondence, and when you need to update the status of one of the payday loans you 'quote' the post that the PDL relates to so its easy to update and keeps everything in the same place and saves having to read through the whole thread each time.Originally posted by TibetanMonk View PostI was going to create a post for each one, but it'd all be the same information. I can still do it if you'd like me to. :P

Re: PayDay Debts - Hindsight is a wonderful thing
SnV - To be fair, all debts span over 5 Months. I do not have any original documentation from any of them, mainly because they've gone quiet and I wouldn't want to poke the hornets nest.
I've only ever paid one which was SpeedyCredit which was sold to Northern Debt Recovery (Wankers) to which I made payments of £30 every two weeks to the tune of about £150. However as soon as I stopped repayments this was swallowed and was asif I'd never paid. This was May 2012.
I do not have confirmation of the above, because again, stupidly I shredded everything. I was going to create a post for each one, but it'd all be the same information. I can still do it if you'd like me to. :P
Thanks,
TM
