Got this from Mr Lender today. They sent me a text, letting me know they were sending me this email, and that my balance was now £710!

Date of notice: As per this email.

    Description of charge, Amount

    Late Fee, £20
    Letter Fee, £20
    Collection Fee, £20

    Total: £60

Please contact us on 0208-532-5024 in order to discuss the state of your agreement.

    Interest

We are not entitled to charge you interest on the default sums for the first 28 days after we have given you this notice. However if the sum is not paid in full by that date interest will be charged at the rate of 30% per month.

This is actually very relevant advice when dealing with PDL companies. Many make the threat of contacting the police to report 'criminal conduct' (as opposed to the reality which is it being a civil matter) when dealing with debtors, which is, of course, a nonsense unless systemic fraud is proven.

Bloody hell mate. I'll not type what I'm thinking as I don't want to get banned, but that is just downright evil.

    Hi Cecilia

Great news on getting PaydayUK to agree repayment plan. Make sure you set up STANDING ORDER and you get their bank details. Don't accept anything else.

So moving on to the other 6...........

First things first - Pounds to Pocket and Quickquid are actually the same company (CasheuronetUK LLC) but different trading names. The fact that they have given you a second loan under a different trading name puts them on dodgy ground regards irresponsible lending so we can use that if we need to and have them by the short and curlies.

Mr Lender I know can get nasty and flout OFT guidelines with regular abandon. We'll have them on OFT664 breaches very quickly, report them and close them down quick. Like I said previously - we will use their bad form against them.

The rest I don't come across very often. I think we need a plan here - you obviously have a repayment strategy in place - thats fine, but keep that in your back pocket for now.........

What I'm concerned about in your specific case is the significant amount of times you have 'rolled over' or 'reloaned' (not to mention encouraged to take out further borrowing to cover your debt). What I'd like you to do is to update each of your threads with the following information:

    1) The total number of times you have 'rolled over' a loan
    2) The total amount of money you have paid in interest to cover the ORIGINAL capital borrowed.

So - if you have rolled over a £400 loan 8 times and paid £120 in interest each time you would have repaid £960 still owing the original £400 capital plus £120 interest

Make sense? I think we have an angle here we can try, but its not one that I approach very often, however the length of time you have had some of these loans makes it an option.

Once you can provide the figures I'll explain some more.

    Best
    SnV

Knew it was them, they had been promising for months that they would resolve the situation. Eventually decide that as I had gone to the Ombudsman, they did not want to get involved. Typical Barclayshark.

OMG Enforcer, so sorry to hear about your ordeal. That is awful. Did you pick up the phone knowing it was them, or thinking it was someone else?

Can't imagine what it would have been like if I had answered all those calls. I can now see how my colleague just walked away from it all. Yesterday, and the day before I had dreams about negotiating with PDL's.

Received a repayment plan from PaydayUK today, they have accepted my offer, and are not charging me interest. To be reviewed after six months.

Thanks Niddy, interesting verdict. I am getting calls from so many different numbers, as it is 7 PDL's I am dealing with.
