I suspect nothing much happened as it wasn't a trial. It was an assessment before trial or something I reckon..?

As for Denise McClean; she's one of the managers responsible for the yes/no decision as to whether a debt gets sold / assigned to their turd threat monkeys, rectums or Mortimer Clarke

That witch deserves everything she's got coming to her.

Sadly in this occasion I suspect its not much.

Re: Marlin being taken to Court

I just liked it on the basis that it turned the tables on the DCA concerned. From the tone of the womans voice on the end of the phone at Marlins she sounded like she was almost in tears.

Now if shes an admin bod in a complaints department employed on minimum wage and expects her employer to look after her interests then I feel a little (but not much) sorry for her.

However if she is when of Marlins threat monkeys, whose day job it is to phone people and make them feel shite about themselves then I'm doubly pleased that on this occasion she got a taste of her own medicine.

I hold the blokes chances as slim, however, and this is what the DCA's have to realize, is that when you start pushing peoples backs up against the wall, making threats, getting CCJ,s charging orders etc, then people are going to start fighting back. Sooner or later these companies are going to come up against some real smart cookies (you only have to look at this site!), and they are going to get bitten in the behind big time.

So although I think its highly unlikely he will get a sympathetic or tolerable judge and chances are he'll get swatted out of court, I really do hope he is actually onto something and at the very least generate some very bad publicity for MBNA and Marlin. If he is close to any sort of truth then I think its likely they won't want to open a tin of worms and will reverse the charging order (which is what it seems is all he wants).

    We'll find out next month!

Don't read too much into that clip. Wait till after the case.

We don't go for criminal law. We deal with civil matters in AAD.

It will be very interesting if Paul comments on it, also it will be interesting to see what Marlin sends me after my prove it letter.
