    Sarcasm is great

I couldn't care less, what we does counts way and above how people care for me. I am nobody in all this, just a pawn, like many thousands of others. Collectively what we do as a whole is what stands us out.... That's key to us.

Fair point, can't argue at that.

Apologies, if my comment was construed as 'all users' - I meant their party line is not to support UE as a forum, to which the majority of what could be construed as 'useful' users are part of that same belief. On AAD, all site team and mods believe in UE.

Certainly 'StepChange', CAB et al could not be considered anything close to impartial, and I would even suggest that advising someone to take a 20(plus) year DMP is not only stupid but irresponsible.

Yes I have to agree, very sadly. I was not aware of the full implications of the Lindley affair but I certainly had my suspicions at the time. It goes back a very long time now but another user had sorted out all the Companies House material on the set up of LB and its original incorporation as a company. From memory only of reading the documents so not certain but they had no exemptions as such, were not a company limited by guarantee, did not have charitable status and were therefore trading as a normal company out to make a profit as you are not allowed to trade insolvently. But the profit comes from whom? The members and users? The very people who have turned to such sites because of desperate need.

Oh and lets not forget the secret rooms that only invitees get to see (unless you get shown things)...!! There's one where FP (the one we wiped from AAD) tries to imply we at AAD failed in a SAR (no, we're just too clever for FP as she's found out lol lol lol) then you get the Kate fan club stuff. See evidence -> http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...831#post366831

Its vile over there, as are most their team tbh. I tried to make it work but they're desperate & lagging behind. Kate is no lawyer. She lost the big case lets not forget - and from that she gets a job!! Bit like offering the footy manager who loses all the time, the job of Barcelona manager...!! Lol

Don't be fooled by what Kate et al may tell you. She's anti debt avoidance. She admits it herself. Ask her

    As for the SD's

I, and any other could do the same. SD's are not for small courts and debt so easy to get set aside. I'd not brag too loudly about menial tasks such as that. I've saved people here many tens of thousands doing F&F's - same difference
Well said mate. There are no other truly UE or dedicated debtor orientated sites available to those in desperate need and I have read quite a few of them going back a number of years now. Most are not worthy of the users trust anyway and considering the recent thread concerning Briscoe and her self seeking/self interest over on LB which came up almost at the top of the Yahoo! search engine whilst looking for set aside information for a user here, it told me everything I need to know about those other sites. I might just have a fragment of belief IF they rid themselves of their silly childish little character assassination chat rooms and "VIP" memberships so publicly proclaimed. THEN really set about helping and supporting those somewhat less fortunate.

I remember as a member there long ago who the fully paid up members of the "pay up, piss off get a life" club really were and apparently still are.

    regards
    G

I'm so sorry if you thought I was belittling your personal role in the unenforceable 'movement'. Nothing could have been further from my mind. There's no doubt that AAD is at the forefront of the current sea-change in attitude to people who find themselves in debt due to no fault of their own and the banks' collective greed. I am one of those people. Thanks to the knowledge I've gained on this site I have not lost my home when a creditor served me with a statutory demand. Do you think I will ever forget that?

You lead where others follow. This means some (but sadly not all) other websites are beginning to see the light. I have a sneaky feeling those websites know that you pioneered this transformation but may be too proud to admit it.
