    Hi,

    So I received an email from a finance company which said

    "This is a short email to let you know about a variation to your agreement.


    As per the terms and conditions of your hire purchase agreement (section 9.1, 9.2), we are writing to you in advance of making a change to your agreement. We have made a unilateral change to correct an inaccuracy that we noticed, but rest assured, this change does not affect your monthly payments, rate of interest or any of your other rights as part of this hire purchase agreement.


    Please find attached the varied agreement for your records, and feel free to get in touch if you’ve got any questions you’d like to discuss."

    In the original agreement it has got a variation clause in it saying they can do this.

    I just want check that this is normal and everything is above board
