Re: embrace1204 UE diary
Hi Niddy
the Co-op have finally sent a CCA to me 13 & half months after requesting. I'm going to be emailing the letter and CCA to you for checking. On their letter they state I requested the agreement in 2012 but it was 2011 obviously and have letters from them in 2011 proving that. Where do I go from here?
Thanks

Re: embrace1204 UE diary
Thanks Niddy, so what now? Do I just ignore Capquest? I sent the last final UE letter to Capquest who passed it onto HFC but Capquest wrote back saying HFC are requesting a signature. I did add into the final UE template saying that I am under no legal obligation to provide a signature etc.

Need your help, been fighting the ue with HFC and the ongoing saga of them wanting a signature. It's been passed to capquest, I sent them the letter stating that it's in dispute and therefore ue and that they don't require a signature. Today I have received a letter from Capquest with HFC still demanding a signature before sending a CCA out. The request for CCA was made back in August. How do I respond please???

That's it then - yea they'll hassle you but that is all they can do! If anyone sends you anything regards to this account you simply copy that letter (so keep it really safe) and respond with a copy of it and one of these: CCA Query - Letter Previously Confirming No CCA

Sorry for the language, but awesome result - they cannot now enforce this and if they attempt to you will throw this back in their faces, ie how the hell can they start legal action against you when they don't think you're who you say you are - ermmm, part of making a claim suggests you have checked certain things - one being that you're claiming from the right person.
You are under NO legal obligation to sign anything, what if you were blind and thus did not use a signature, then what?
