Re: Terrified of Ruthbridge
As every1 else has said at this present time just ignore it. I'm doin the same with a few silly little amounts owed to Eon (not even £100) where BCW are theatening me with court.
Glad i have a shredder (and Scanner)
Bear in mind that any post delivered to you can always be claimed as not recieved unless it has been sent via special recorded or courier.
So yeah big BIG Ignore

Re: Terrified of Ruthbridge
Thanks Shep,
Send Niddy a PM telling him you would like to chnge your user name and he will normally arrange it. I would be a little cautious about just returning correspondence to the sender if it is addressed to you. Keep the letter and the envelope it comes in suitably marked up with the date it actually came through the door.
A paper audit trail is essential if these cretins do not take no for an answer.
regards
Garlok

Re: Terrified of Ruthbridge
Unlikely then that Ruthbridge "doorstep agent" will show up there then ??
I was wondering what would be the best course of action when the next letter arrives, open it and post it here or just wriye "RTS" on it and send it back to them ???Last edited by reliant; 27 November 2011, 15:15.

Re: Terrified of Ruthbridge
It certainly wasn't mate! The BVI is a nice place but not one where I could live. The grass airfield is on a little island served by a rickety suspension bridge of indeterminate age and the airline which serves the islands of the area is called L.I.A.T. Known to those of us who have had to work there in the past as :-
"Leaves Island Any Time"
Still the sun shines and the trade winds blow every day on time so justification of an incompetent Metereology Office is not needed.
Garlok.

One could send them a copy of the letter from the Mafia Bank of North America and tell them that, as no agreement exists, the alleged debt is and remains unenforcible. Depending on how one likes to play with such buggers, one could merely type one's name, or use a hand writing font for one's signature, or get a friend to sign one's name; if they "get creative" and cobble something together that they claim is a signed agreement, one would then be able to claim in court - should they be daft enough to take it to court - that it is not one's signature on the agreement and that the DCA seems to be depending upon a forgery.
