Re: Yay more Fun - Housing Association Rental Repossession
Lottery numbers would be a help.
Though realistically it's all ok. I'm secure where I am now (and it's cheep) but I need to sort out other things too.

Re: Yay more Fun - Housing Association Rental Repossession
Is there anything I can do to help with your current housing issues? I've seen your other thread started last night and things seem to be going wrong again
I've sent you a PM.

Good news that you are out of the travel lodge

Re: Yay more Fun - Housing Association Rental Repossession
Now out of Travelodge and in temp Housing provided by the council.
Its a 1 bed first floor flat so our front room is also mine and the partners bedroom whilst little man has the bedroom to himself.
But at least its a bigger space than the travelodge.
Also been viewing houses so will have to just keep on with that.
Got a few applications to fill out so see what happens with that.

Well we arent in a shitty B&B but in a travelodge so have some more flexability than if we were in a B&B
All stuff in storage so will be constantly too-ing and fro-ing between the travelodge and the storage centre

Re: Yay more Fun - Housing Association Rental Repossession
Get anything mate, a B&B is not the place for a family..... serious, if you have the cash then get sorted and pay 6 months up front - you're working so can then not worry about rent for a while.... if anything always pay a couple of months in front so if you lose your job or quit, you will not be in immediate arrears.
But whatever you do, try and learn from this
You need a detached house in a field to ensure no neighbours complain

Re: Yay more Fun - Housing Association Rental Repossession
Bailiffs will be here at 13:30 so have been told we will be placed in B&B by council although i kinda have a small ace up my sleeve thanks to a certain grandma that looks out for her grandson and great-grandson.
So we are in a position to do more now than we could
I.e
We could clear arrears & put 6months down on private
Put 6 months down on private and set payment plan on arrears and then F&F to my creditors
Or
Just 1 month rent & deposit + F&F creditors + pp on arrears
so definately looking up and wont have to deal with this shitty flat again

Looks like we are getting placed into B&B from the sounds of things.
My partner is speaking to the head of family and well being whom happens to be her bosses bosses boss and also oversees the HOT team.
Hopefully 2moro when we have our actual appointment we will have had some better news.
