Righty ho,
So my ex partner and I consolidated our debts with payplan about 6 years ago - we've been paying off monthly amounts since then. will it be difficult getting a mortgage after the six years of statute barred debts ?
We are looking to downsize when our debts become statute barred and just get a small mortgage of say 30.000 . Would this be possible do you think ?

Not sure if this is correct sub-forum but Default help required
In a DMP for last 6 years, and have default notices on credit history from 4 creditors that drop off in about 6 months. Just spoke to the DMP co. (Payplan) who stated that
"A Default Notice stays on your credit file for 6 years from the date it was issued and will make it difficult...

Query over F & F number of offers

I have inherited £3,000.
However, if I offered a pro rata settlement to all my creditors (total outstanding circa £30K) I know that none would accept. However, the smaller creditors may do so.
My question is do I have to offer this money to all my creditors...

I have a ccj with Lewis group which is being paid through payplan , I received a letter from them today telling me they have passed the account onto Robinson Way, can a debt be passed on when it is a ccj ?

where do i get details of accounts,start date .payplan only state creditors current status.of debt.not when account started.do i have to get credit report to get this info.sorry but confused.

Payplan emaile'd me about the annual review
I wrote back telling them we don't need one as we are not paying the creditors as the debts are UE
I got another email saying , that it is a creditor requirement that an annual review be sent to them .
I wrote back saying , as there are only 2 accounts that are being paid...

i have one ccj with lewis group and that along with drysdenfairfax are the only 2 creditors being paid from my payplanplus account, the ccj is £3.89 a month and the outstanding balance is £680 ,we are thinking of offering these a full and final and then dumping payplan and just paying drysdenfairfax...
