    Is it me??!

I am at the end of my tether and seriously thinking about whether to carry on with this charade, 24 years down the line and I feel like the hired f-ing help, get moaned at when things aren't done or tidy or whatever and I think (and often say), I work full time and do everything. What I also want to...

I'm sure that we all have digital files which are important to us. They may be wedding photographs, scans of important paperwork, video footage, or, as in my case, music files which could never be replaced.

Back up is critical. In the last 18 months, I have had two hard drives crash completely...

  • Do mortgage lenders check your employer to see if the company is secure, legit, doing well or poorly

How much digging do lenders do into your employer ?

In this risk averse world, do they do a financial health check on your employer and if so, how ?

Mine seems fine but it is only small and obviously has more chance of going to the wall than BP so does that figure in the underwriting...

  • What happened to the Mortgage Verification Scheme ?

This was given a lot of press back in 2011 and infrequently recognised in subsequent articles but is it simply being ignored to let people forget about it and let it burrow its way into our finances ?

Some said the lenders wouldn't pay but that makes no sense when it was supposed to cost...
