How do we go about communicating with DCA's etc
From what I can see the options are
1) Special Delivery (£5.90)
2) Signed for (1.55) BUT you do not always get a signature...

Yesterday I returned home to find the following hand delivered through my door.
I would like to know how to respond in writing to the visit by the DCA and also what I should say if they turn up again and I'm at home to answer the door.

DCA Change in circumstance
I agreed with a DCA to pay an amount, however my circumstances have changed and I can no longer pay them this amount. so i am paying £30 instead of £100. They sent me a letter threatning court action because i have not stuck to the arrangement, is this right? i thought only the original debt owed...

I have received a letter today from Cabot regarding my debt with Littlewoods. Same story...I got in to debt and requested Littlewoods if they would accept smaller payments..they said no...then I defaulted and they passed the account on and on and so on.

It seems that a lot of people are being caught out by these auto renew agreements with a prior notice to terminate on not less than 12 months and the extension period is 24 months....myself included, as I have just bumped heads initially with Merchant Rentals PLC.
